Wardify/FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What Wardify is, how it works with your clothes, and what happens to your data.
The app
What is Wardify?
Wardify is a digital wardrobe and AI styling app. You photograph the clothes you own, and Wardify builds outfits from them: a look every morning for the weather in your city, a planner for the week, and an AI stylist you can ask what to wear.
Is Wardify available yet?
Not yet. Wardify is coming to the App Store, and the Android version is in closed testing ahead of Google Play. Leave your email address on the homepage and we will send you one email on the day it is out.
Which languages does Wardify speak?
The app is in English, Turkish, German and French.
Who can use Wardify?
Anyone aged 18 or over. You sign in with Google, Apple, or an email address and a password.
Do I have to buy new clothes?
No. Wardify works from the clothes you already own. When an outfit would be better with a piece you do not have, the stylist can suggest one to shop for, with links to third-party shops, but nothing depends on it.
Your wardrobe and outfits
How do I add my clothes?
Take a photo of a garment or pick photos from your library; you can add several pieces at once. Wardify cuts each piece out of its background and reads its category, colour, material and season. You can correct anything it gets wrong.
How does Wardify choose an outfit?
It looks at the forecast for your home city, the pieces in your wardrobe, what you wore recently and what you liked, disliked or swapped before.
Does Wardify use my location?
It uses the home city you set in your profile to check the weather. It does not use your phone's precise location.
Can I plan outfits for the whole week?
Yes. The planner shows the week with the forecast beside each day. You can put a look on each day yourself, and Wardify tells you when you are about to repeat an outfit. With a Pro subscription Wardify can also fill the week for you, or have it ready every Monday morning.
Is the stylist a real person?
No. The stylist is an AI system. It answers styling questions with complete outfits built from your own clothes. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so treat a suggestion as an idea, not as professional advice.
Credits and plans
Is Wardify free?
You can use Wardify without paying. Adding clothes is free up to an allowance of 50 pieces for each account, and every account gets a small monthly allowance of credits for the AI features.
A Pro subscription gives a larger monthly allowance and raises the free allowance for adding clothes to 150 pieces while you pay for a monthly or annual plan. You can also buy credit packs. Subscriptions and packs are sold through the App Store or Google Play, where the prices are shown.
What are credits?
Some AI features use credits, for example asking the stylist for a look. Credits that come with a plan are renewed each billing period and do not carry over. Credits from a pack you buy are kept separately and do not expire. Plan credits are used first.
When an AI step fails, its credit is returned.
How do I cancel a subscription?
In your App Store or Google Play account settings. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Deleting your Wardify account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in the store first.
Privacy
What happens to my photos?
Wardify keeps the cut-out picture made from each clothing photo, a thumbnail and the details read from it. It does not keep the original photo. Your photos are used only to run Wardify for you: they are not sold, they are not used to train AI models, and the app shows no ads.
Which AI does Wardify use?
The AI features are run by Google (Gemini API): recognising garments, cut-out pictures and covers, outfit suggestions, the colour analysis and the stylist. The app asks for your permission before the first AI feature, and you can take it back at any time in the settings.
Is my selfie stored?
No. The colour analysis is optional. If you use it, one selfie is sent to Google (Gemini API) once to read your colouring, and we never store it on our servers. Google logs requests for a limited period (currently up to 55 days) to detect abuse, and states that it does not use them to improve its products.
We keep only what was read from it: skin undertone, contrast, depth of colouring, hair colour, eye colour, and the colour season and palette worked out from them. You can delete that in the app.
How do I delete my account and my data?
In the app, under Profile, Settings, Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your account and what is in it, including every image. You can also ask by email. The Privacy Policy lists the little that is kept for a limited time afterwards, such as backups, and why.
